Valeria Rodríguez fue la mejor jugadora del combinado patrio y sus destacadas actuaciones la valieron para quedar en el quinteto ideal del certamen, que fue ganado por Brasil, seguido de Argentina, que cayó ante sus máximas rivales en la final.
“El balance es muy positivo, trabajamos durante 20 días para este torneo, no pudieron venir nuestras mejores jugadoras y quedamos por debajo de dos selecciones que están muy arriba en el desarrollo el baloncesto.
