Este fin de semana finalizó una nueva edición de los Juegos Olímpicos de Inviernos. Las justas celebradas en China presenciaron el regreso al título de Noruega, país que repite tras haber ganado el medallero general de la edición del 2018, y que suma así su noveno triunfo en la historia de la competición.
Los noruegos se van de territorio chino tras acumular 37 podios, repartidos en 16 oros, 8 platas y 12 bronces. Además, cosecharon su mejor participación en medallas doradas, tras las 14 conseguidas en la edición anterior.
En segundo lugar, Alemania completo una destacada presentación y alcanzó a ganar 12 oros, 10 platas y 5 bronces, sumando 27 preseas, cifra que no superó la de los juegos de 2018, en las acumularon 31 preseas en total y 14 de oro.
Por último, China hizo respetar su casa y se quedó con el bronce en el medallero, tras acumular 9 oros, 4 platas y 2 bronces, cifra récord para los asiáticos, quienes solo habían sumado 1 medalla dorada hace 4 años.
Recordemos que Colombia tuvo 3 representantes, 1 menos que hace 4 años, pero de a poco sigue creciendo la cantidad y el rendimiento de nuestro país en este tipo de competiciones, y ahora resta esperar que para 2026 se puedan llevar más deportistas a estas justas, y se logre sumar al menos una medalla durante los días de competencia.
