Las emociones de la fiebre naranja en el país ya arrancaron para este primer semestre. La Liga Wplay estrenó su nueva temporada con dos partidos que fueron interesantes y regalaron emociones en dos ciudades que hace tiempo no veían baloncesto profesional.

El equipo de Armenia es firme candidato y dio una exhibición de categoría ante un Tigrillos que está en un proceso de renovación y le está apostando a una plantilla joven y de jugadores criollos.
Héctor Díaz y Quinton Chievous fueron los jugadores más destacados con 15 puntos, 6 rebotes y 3 asistencias y 14 puntos, 7 rebotes y 4 asistencias, respectivamente. Por parte de Tigrillos, Andrés Carmona fue el destacado con 22 puntos conseguidos.
En el segundo juego de la jornada del jueves, el actual pentacampeón, Titanes de Barranquilla, inició ante su público con triunfo frente a Corsarios de Cartagena, por 95-78. Pese a la abultada derrota, el equipo dirigido por Carlos Gil jugó un gran partido y demostró ser un combinado interesante con mucha resiliencia.
Los mejores del juego fueron Ernesto Oglivie y Hassler Guillent, que sumaron 33 puntos entre los 2. El panameño fue el mejor reboteador con 11 y Guillent consiguió 10 asistencias, ambos consiguieron un doble-doble. Por parte de Corsarios, Luis Duarte consiguió 23 puntos y 9 rebotes.
Este viernes el Team Cali iniciará su participación en el Coliseo Evangelista Mora ante Caribbean Storm, a partir de las 7:40 de la noche.
